Sept.2: Gift certificate to Foia Restaurant in Tecumseh for lunch valued at $50,along with a Gift Certificate from Ewe Dell Farms to purchase some of their Local Fresh Lamb - Valued at $25, and 2 bottles of wine - Colio Estate Winery 2007 Cabernet Franc, and Viewpointe Estate Winery 2006 Riesling. Total Value of Prize over $100.

Sept.3: One (1) Essex Region Conservation Authority Season's Pass for 1 year, courtesy of Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island, along with a Gift Certificate from Ewe Dell Farms to purchase some of their Local Fresh Lamb - Valued at $25, and a bottle of 2007 Riesling from Erie Shores Vineyard, and a bottle of Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery 'Lady in Red' 2006 Cabernet/Merlot. Vidmar Funghi Prize Pack consisting of 3lbs of portabella or 5lbs of cremini mushrooms, freshly picked and locally grown, one Recipe booklet provided by Mushroom Canada & Foodland Ontario, one jar of our pickled cremini mushrooms and one jar of our sliced, grilled, marinated portabella in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Amherstburg Farmers' Market is celebrating its third month of providing fresh local foods to the growing number of customers who love product that is "grown right here".  In support of Grown Right Here and Locavore Week, on Saturday, September 4th we will be Letting the Fish FRY!  The Fish Guys will be cooking up the catch-of-the-day.  Doesn't get much fresher than that!  We would like to invite everyone to catch some delicious lunch at the market on that day and taste everything that has been growing!

The Amherstburg Farmers' Market is open every Saturday until October 30th, 8:30am to 1:30pm

During Local Week, Vidmar Funghi will take off $4 for any purchase at the farm.

In addition, on September 4th at the Amherstburg Farmers Market, Vidmar Funghi will be selling boxes of 3lbs of Portabellini's for $6, saving the customer $3 per pound purchase if they specify that they heard about the LOCAL WEEK Event.
