Chana Food Products

The company was started by brothers Ajit and Sewa Chana. They operated a stone mill in India for the family before emigrating to England in 1959. Chana Food Products was established in Windsor in 2006 and began milling flour June 2007. All of our flours are approved to carry the Whole Grain Council stamp. Whole Grain Hard Red Wheat Flour is approved to carry Heart and Stroke Foundation's Health Check logo. All in-coming grains are independently tested for nutritional and toxicology levels, and all milled flours are independently tested for accurate nutritional labeling.

We carry several types of flour including: 100% Stone Ground Whole Grain Flour, Whole Grain Hard Red Wheat Flour, Whole Grain Hard White Wheat Flour, Whole Grain Soft White Wheat Flour, Whole Grain Durum Atta Flour, Whole Grain Spelt Flour, Whole Grain Corn Flour, Pure Besan (Chickpea Flour).
Soft White Wheat & Corn are grown in Essex County, Spelt and Hard Red Wheat are grown in Ontario, and Hard White, Durum and Chickpeas are grown in the Canadian Prairies.
